Diets don’t really work.
I think anyone who has ever been overweight knows just how difficult it can be to lose weight just by following a healthy eating plan. Many of us are tempted to follow fad diets that promise to make you lose weight fast, and you usually do, to start with. Unfortunately, though, the weight loss is usually short term, as by cutting out different foods you feel as though you are being deprived and that makes you miserable and eats away at the willpower you had when you started the diet, inevitably leading to failure.
